Glad I typed your name in after all ! And how great to know you didn’t just ‘blow away’ into the Radio waves of L.A.
Well to start off I know two of the founding members before the group autograph they were Wolfgang back in the 70s Steve Plunkett known as the plunk and Randy Rand there was Gene on keyboards and Ray known as Super Chief I have there 45 record that came out in 1978 with this song’s Cynthia and rock or die. I met them at mothers biker bar in Inglewood California and followed the group saw them at the Roxy in Hollywood California where I was backstage and met Ruby Starr of Black Oak Arkansas go Jim Dandy go LOL and also met the group Blackfoot with Rickey medlocke who is in the group Lynyrd Skynyrd. After a while Wolfgang change their name to Phoenix where are they played in Long Beach California at John’s bar short-lived they became the group Autograph with their It song Turn up the radio. It would really be nice to see the guys again and here them rock out….
